Hello everybody! Miners take an extremely long time to synchronize, even when using snapshots (which cannot be found up-to-date), the speed is about 80-100 blocks per night. Is there any way to speed this up? Do I need to open any ports for this if I’m behind NAT?

u need open UDP port at Routes.

Since then, many new versions have been released, and now synchronization is much faster even without open ports.

Just for reference: I clocked the new version of the code, getting about 1100 blocks in 35 minutes. Which works out to about one block every 2 seconds. With older versions of the code, block updates were as low as 100/hr. Great improvements!
