Some questions related to mining

On May 21st, when mining officially began,

  1. If I have multiple servers participating in mining, I must start a leader myself and then start multiple followers, Multiple followers can configure the same pubkey, Is that correct?
  2. Or is my previous idea incorrect and requires running one follower and multiple leaders?
  3. Or do I just need to run multiple followers and use the same pubkey?
  4. What is the exact time zone for the start of mining, UTC+0?

Leader and follower are genesis block concepts. They don’t really apply for mainnet. Zorp will mine the genesis block (without reward), and we will run genesis followers. But really there is just one type of node which can be configured to mine or not.

  1. No leaders. Multiple nodes can use the same pubkey for mining.
  2. Both incorrect.
  3. Yes, but forget about leader/follower.
  4. Unknown but later than 21 UTC start of day.
